Reading With Daddy

One of things we really want to instill in our daughter is a love for learning and reading. I read little books to her all the time. As a former elementary school teacher, I think it is so important to introduce children to books right away. It helps them develop vocabulary, communication skills, and gives them information about the world around them. I thought it was so cute on Sunday to see David reading the newspaper out loud to Abby. She seemed very interested in everything he was saying. She's so smart. :)

Be sure to check out Sandra Boyton books. She is AWESOME. Sam loves all of them. I recommend Doggies to start with.

Also, the little Coco the Chick books for babies (not the adult ones which are hilarious though) are great too.

Great! You always have such great ideas. I really appreciate them, Kristi. Buying books is always fun. I could spend hours in the children's section of a bookstore.
