MOPS
Lately, I have been praying about connecting with other young moms. I miss being with other women like I was when I was teaching. I love going to a small church, but there is only one other baby at our church besides Abby, and her mom works. I decided to look for moms' groups in the community. I found several places online. I wanted to be a part of a Christian group. I went on EvFree Fullerton's website and read about MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers:Infancy to age 5). I inquired, signed up, and will be starting with my first session next week! I've already been contacted by my table group leader, Susan. I will be sitting with the Bazooka Babes (my funny table group name). I am very excited that God is working this out. I am praying that Abigail will be okay in the nursery. She has had some seperation anxiety lately and wants to be with her mommy. :) Susan let me know I can bring her to our table or play with her in the back so I can still hear the speaker. We will be meeting twice a month at the church, with a once a month mom's night, and a playdate time. Yay! I am really looking forward to this new adventure.
